I keep getting this weird entry in my /var/log/secure:
May 1 17:19:57 {hostname} xinetd[18729]: START: imap pid=21248 from=127.0.0.1
And this occurs like every 8-9 minutes routinely. It just started happing today, and I'm not sure what could have suddenly initiated this action. I restarted imap, but it keeps happening. I dont think it appears to be a serious issue, as its just the local host calling imap, but these log lines pile up fast, and I dont want unnecessary items clogging my logs. Ideas what I can check that could be causing this?
