    Hi all

I will cut to the chase:

I have a directory, for example "dir" and when I get into http://www.example.com/dir I am being redirected to http://example.com/dir . When I try http://www.example.com/dir/ then everything works as it should, no redirection occurs.

My guess is that when I use the final / the system understands that I am talking about a directory so it stays to it. If I don't use the final / the system redirects from the original subdomain.

I get that in all the domains in my server.

Can somebody give me a hint? Why does that happen? And what can I do to stop it? I suppose there is an Apache configuration thing. But I cannot find a way to fix it.

Thank you for you answer Ian. The 'DirectorySlash' directive would be helpful but I am using Apache 1 :(
