What is the difference between noarch and src rpms?
noarch rpms are non-architecture dependent, i.e. they can be installed on any type of processor usually because they contain scripts, not binaries.
src rpms and source rpms (srpms), i.e. they contain the original source code for an rpm such that they can be compiled locally, rather than using an rpm with pre-compiled binaries.
