    Hi,

My host allows me to have 4 sub domains, 1 parked domain and 1 add-on domain.

I know sub domains are like : www.mysite.com/thesubdomain but what are the other types?

    I have no idea.

    Many thanks!! :)

If your domain is 'mydomain.com', then...

    sub.mydomain.com, dev.mydomain.com and staging.mydomain.com are examples of sub-domains

mydomain.net and mydomain.org pointing to the same files as mydomain.com would be examples of parked domains

anotherdomain.com pointing to different files than mydomain.com would be an example of an add-on domain

    :)
