Would anyone be so kind as to tell me what a basic server should consist of for this to install correctly?

I am guessing Apache, mysql server & client, php with what level of configuration?

Is there a list that I can't seem to find.

Just another quick question, anyone have this running under Debian 3.0?

    Thank you :D

    Go on, have a guess
The only thing I would add the the cPanel page that squirrel pointed you to, is to make sure GCC is installed before running the cPanel install scripts.

    Thank you Gentleman,

I did read the install instructions which are possibly too simple, that being the reason I asked :)

I will do a base install while making sure the GCC libraries are installed & let it go, Thank you for the tip.

    Have a great day :D
