what happend to Chilisoft ASP

    i tried to install Chilisoft ASP with tthe links on other forums but the link http://layer1.cpanel.net/apache-asp.sea doesnt work so how do i install asp as i tried the pearl module but it didnt work as i still cant display asp pages

    Its still available but the name has changed

    I believe its called Sun Server One now and its available from the sun download area

    Does anyone really use this stuff anymore ?. Isnt this a very limited version of ASP and would end up being more of a problem for ASP coders than it's worth ?.

    Not many I know of use it as most hosting asp use windows but he asked and I sent him the link

    And yes its more trouble than its worth as most asp coders code for MDB databases which is not compatiable with chillisoft and linux

    i just wanted asp because at the end of the day its one more script to offer and i dont really want to use a windows server as i like cpanel also i the sun download area for asp i didnt find a download for centos

    Then you'll either need to run an OS Sun supports for it or simply go run Windows for native ASP support. Griping about it here won't do you much good; the folks on the forums have already been more than accomodating; this is cPanel support forums, not ASP support forums.
