I have a question........... say I don't like cPanel after the 15-day trial..... I was told that once the trial is over every website setup on my server will become unavailable and everything will become locked down....

Is there a way to remove cPanel without losing all my websites that are setup?

The WHM UI and cPanel will not be accessible, IIRC, but the websites on your server will still function.

There is no valid way to remove cPanel properly other than formatting the drive it's on and reload the OS.

    Only the interface is affected

Your sites, mail, FTP, etc. will continue operating normally. However, you will not be able to use the WebHost Manager, cPanel or Webmail interfaces. Your accounts' data will not be affected if/when the cPanel licenses expires.

There is no way to uninstall cPanel other than reformatting the hard drive and reinstalling the operating system.
