What is better MaxRequestsPerChild 100 or MaxRequestsPerChild 10000 ?

Since 0 meaning unlimited is bad, would 100 be better or might that be "too low"

    Go on, have a guess
0 isn't bad. It's only a problem if you have applications running in apache that are poorly written and have things such as memory leaks or leave around file locks, etc. If you do, then it completely depends on the server load and average connections. You need to play with the value until it helps whatever situation you are trying to fix. That said, you'll want to start in the low hundreds for any meaningful change, e.g. between 100 and 500.
