Im in top and I see a process &snarf.20154& running by root and was wondering what it was? its just been sitting there doing nothing, can I stop it? should I just leave it? It looks like it has something to do with the nightly update.. but I am not sure.

yes then its probably the nightly updater...

I just updated mine, and in the install process I saw something called snarf so I think it might be best to leave it for now until Nick comes on

I had to reboot the server anyways and that fixed things up. I think it might have something to do with the DoS that happened yesterday at VDI. Anywho, all is well now.
