    Threaded Processes of Spamassassin

It is a threaded processes of Spamassassin for processing the emails. It is set to fork off 5 processes to handle high volume of emails though the system.

    Dear AbeFroman,

A process created by spamd is called spam child. Spamd is a daemonized version of Spamassassin. Spamd will wait until the child finishes before forking again. Meanwhile, incoming connections will be queued. Also, this option causes spamd to create an extra pipe for each child. Hope as because of this it is using much CPU.

    Regards,
    :)
