    Hi,

What is the best php handler to work with cloudlinux ? SuPHP or FCGI (i did'n see nothing related to suphp in http://www.cloudlinux.com/docs/cpanel-webserver.php).

Another question, eAcelerator or other PHP related systems can be used ? And in this case what is tne most confiable ?

suPHP would not be usable with any OPCode caching mechanism such as eAccelerator, while FCGI would work with OPCode such as eAccelerator. So, if you want to use eAccelerator, your only choice would be FCGI.

I cannot say otherwise the better handler to use with CloudLinux. That would be best answered by anyone with production machines who have CloudLinux enabled.

The CloudLinux forums specifically address the handlers supported:

    CloudLinux Forum

Under cPanel, CloudLinux would support the PHP handlers provided by cPanel, which includes CGI, DSO, FCGI and suPHP.

@duranduran What Tristan is pointing out is that eAccelerator does not work at all using suPHP CloudLinux or no CloudLinux !

Otherwise currently i have been running a production machine with about 130-150 active clients on the following setup :

    Apache 2.2.x latest + FCGI + eAccelerator + CloudLinux

Although a little customized , i would say this setup performs much better than DSO or suPHP , DSO cracks under too much traffic suPHP just does not cut it when it comes to per client needs especially something more flexible.

    Hope this helps you.
