What is the default password / username for cPanel ?

    I have just got cPanel, i need to know the username and password for when u have just got cpanel, what is it ?

    There is no default. That information is provided when you install or from your DC.

    thanks for quick reply but i need to login :/

    i need to login to my cPanel but i was provided no username or password with it

    DataCenter Provider
    That info is provided by your hosting provider. Ask them what they set it to.

    If though you ARE the hosting company, you first need to setup an account in WHM before accessing cPanel client.

    If you mean does it matter if you are the end customer or the hosting provider, YES it does matter.

    It sounds to me like you signed up for a hosting account at a hosting company, (probably a-h), and you want to know what your account username and password are. If that's the case, only your hosting provider can tell you. Cpanel is NOT a hosting provider.

    If you got your own server, you won't have a cpanel account until you create one in WHM.
