I just installed Cpanel on a FreeBSD 4.7 machine using the tar ball for FreeBSD 4.7

Now I am unable to login. I've tried admin/admin as the login, I've tried my SSH login names and passwords, I can't find the default login info in any install instructions that I read on the Cpanel site, and I was never asked for a username and password during the install...

Also, do I need to still do the

    # wget http://layer1.cpanel.net/lastest
    # sh lastest

If I installed from the tarball for FreeBSD machines?

Thanks for your help, I'm trying to get off my Ensim server ASAP... =)

It should be root and your root password.

Could the problem be that FreeBSD on my server came with direct root login disabled?

I've tried both root and admin and their respective passwords and neither worked...

    Nevermind...
it worked with root when I went to port 2086

I had been trying both 2082 and 2086 with both combinations but apparently I didn't try root on 2086, thought that I had.

    Sorry, and thanks!
