Please, does anyone know what the difference is between the X and X2 cpanel theme? Any idea, anyone? I have searched, and searched and I cannot find the difference. I do not visually notice a difference.
Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Thanks!

    Best Regards,
    Brian Samson

    The header is slightly different.

That's it?? X2 has a larger header? There are no advantages one over the other? That seems pretty crazy. I mean I interpret X2 as Theme x version 2. Either way, thank you and I appreciate the explaination.

The header is the only difference. Most of the X2 theme is just symlinks to the X theme files.

    In ssh do:
    ls -l /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x2
and you will see how much is symlinks.
