what port does cURL over SSL use?

    I'm having a problem where I can't connect with curl over SSL. I use the APF firewall and my allowed ports are setup as follows (I followed the thread on these forums about what ports to open):

    I know it has to be the firewall because as soon as I turn it off, I can connect with curl over SSL.

    I got it. I had to open port 443 (SSL) in the outbound TCP port list, which makes sense.
