They give me 2 IPs in my VPS plan. All new cPanel accounts created have being directed to main IP. Is there a problem using only the main IP? The only use of second IP is to ns2.myresellerdomain.com. Does anyone suggest a better use?

    Sorry for newbie questions...

    Hello wagnerpk,

You can add multiple sites on main/shared IP of vps. That should not create any problem for you. The second IP you can use to assign as dedicated IP for any site hosted on your vps. A domain should point to dedicated IP if ssl certificate has to be installed on it.

Yes, Mohammed is correct. You can use the primary ip as a main shared ip address under which you can host unlimited domains and use secondary ip as a dedicated ip for the respective domain, if you want to install SSL certificate or want to use ip for SEO purpose.

You can check the shared ip address from the WHM >> Main >> Server Configuration >> Basic cPanel & WHM Setup >> Basic Config

Let us know if you have any further query...
