    Hi People,

I am moving my business from ThePlanet to Sagonet, but Sagonet don´t offer RH Enterprise, just CentOS.

Can you say me if is it a good choise, so good as RH Enterprise? I saw on cpanel site that it is compatible with a lot of CentOS version. I would know wich is the better.3, 3.1, 3.3, 3.4, 4, 4.1 ?

Your coments will be very apreciate.

    Best Regards,

    André Marcelo

As others suggested in this thread, CentOS 4.x should be good.

We have used Centos 3.4, 3.5, 3.6, 4.1 and 4.2 and have found Centos 3.6 and 4.1 to be very stable with whm/cpanel

I would suggest you to either go for Centos 3.6 or 4.1 :)

    Both 3.6 and 4.1 have 2.6 kernel?

CentOS 4.2 issues with 2.6 kernel and cPanel

I have a box on CentOS 4.2 but cPanel is having loads of issues with quota. in 3.5 it is not an issue. I learned that it is due to 2.6 kernel in 4.2. My box is not calculating quota for several months now and I dont have any update on this issue too! My users are having a great time as everyone goes for the lowest plan and enjoys unlimited quota provided by cPanel on 4.2. I a beginning to think to go back to 3.5 with the 2.4 kernel!
