    /home/cpanelid/mail/mailuser/inbox

    and

    /home/cpanelid/mail/domain.com/mailuser/inbox


    Anyone know the punchline?

    They are *meant* to be one and the same, sharing the same inode. Unfortunately on occasions (I have noticed only after a pop3 auth) they become seperated. This can cause confusion with quotas. There are a few threads on this in these forums and there is also a bug listed with cPanel.

    The reason there is two is for backwards compatability. They used to use /home/user/mail/inbox but now with multiple domains they add the dir doamin.com and have the inbox in there...
