    Hello all,
I've got probably silly question - but after millions of articles with no straight answer I am just giving up browsing.
So I am quite new to the web creation world and I have built a website on a wp platform. It is going to be using payment gateway and such so security is my priority. I have an ssl installed on my entire web through WHM and cpanel also added necessary codes to .htaccess and wp-config.php files to force ssl, also have cloudflare to help reduce attacks and such but I am so confused regarding the apache bit here. So if an ssl is installed on a root do I need to install it on apache as well? This question is so badly bothering me... Please, please if anyone could spare some time and give me a little bit some insight I would trully apreciate it.
P.S. if anyone has anymore advices rearding the increase of security for the wpress site I would love to know :)
Thank you so much for any answers
    Kind regards

    Hello :),

What do you mean install SSL on apache ?

If you have installed SSL on your domain then there is no need to install it anywhere. You can check your Domain SSL through SSL Server Test (Powered by Qualys SSL Labs) URL

When do you need an SSL certificate for your site?

When the information you're sharing or using on the site needs to be secured.

    Examples:

    - I use my site for selling my goods or services and users enter a credit card on my site.
    - I use a CMS liked wordpress on my website and I want my username and password to be transmitted securely.
    - I would like to get a better ranking in google search results.
    - I am security conscious and want to encrypt all traffic.

    And many many more!

So, there is almost no scenario in which you could possibly not want to install SSL :)
Specially now that Let's Encrypt certs are free.
