When does cPanel/WHM mail people?

Hi all,

When you create an account, or login to cPanel, it asks you update the email address, presumably so the user can be emailed.

In what cirumstances does cPanel email the users? The only few I can think of are the 80% bandwidth, email account nearly full etc. Does anyone know the other circumstances people are emailed in?

You have the ability in WHM to mass mail all customers on the server with a click of the button.
