It's on track to be fixed in August 6th, 2012. It will be tested in the edge release version 33.1.1220

Oh What a relief, at least there is this *Unofficial* ETA at least. I'll pass on this info to my son so that when he takes over at least he is well aware that the bug is fixed so that he doesn't ponder over it's fate like i have been doing and saying Amen every morning when it comes to expecting a Fix

    [EDIT]
    [cPanel tickets ID# 91848]
Closed with -- I've added this to the bug 128 TODO. There is nothing more to do other than wait for the developers to get around to fixing it.

There is a Bugzilla entry lying around since jan 2005 ... im not sure of exact dates as digging thru Bugzilla is another Pain

It was my Bugzilla entry. I still haven't heard anything. I'm tempted to just install an updated version...

I have always been tempted to explore what really works?
    This forum or Bugzilla?
WRT this issue it apparently seems none when 4 to 5 months make no difference...

I take that back. I just got this in my email:

    billy@cpanel.net changed:

    What |Removed |Added
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Status|NEW |RESOLVED
    Resolution| |FIXED

    ------- Additional Comments From billy@cpanel.net 2005-04-07 13:31 -------
Resolved in 10.1.0 (build 6) - EDGE Tree

You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Not sure how long it takes an EDGE release to go CURRENT or RELEASE, though...

Good to see good things happening. Even i have that mail.
The waiting period is not yet over as i am on CURRENT tree and would watch when this fix moves over to CURRENT.

    [EDIT]
    Fixed in CURRENT too

This actually does not affect cPanel due to the login needed before you can use phpMyAdmin
