When is 11.36 going to the Release Tier?

This is taking a lot long than normal, is there problems with it? To be honest, I'm not too concerned about the 11.36, I just don't want a delay on 11.38 which has the new backup system.

Also, any news on replacing gzip with pigz as that was suppose to happen a while ago.
