    Hi There,

    I`m currently using :

    WHM 6.0.0
    Cpanel 6.0.0-S109
    RedHat 7.2

    Problem description :

When we (or reseller) create a new account, the directories aren't created with the proper owner search as :

    - public_html
    - public_ftp
    - www

..... because the wwwacct script complains the user does not exist. The is an example of the WHM output on new account creation

    drwxr-x--- 3 root root 4096 Mar 11 14:54 public_ftp/
    drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Mar 11 14:54 public_html/
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 Mar 11 14:54 www -> public_html/

A ticket have been send to the Cpanel Team, We are the only one with this problem ?

    Hello!

I had a similar problem the other day but as soon as i updated apache as sugested in the WHM news most of my problems where no more.

Check to see if you have a message like Update Apache in the WHM News and if yes then run /scripts/easyapache in SSH.

    Hi there,

/scripts/upcp already done .. 2 times today ... and still have the same problem :

    User testme added
    Removing Shell Access
chsh: user "testme" does not exist.
Usage: editquota at /scripts/editquota line 12.
    chown: `testme:root': invalid user
    chown: `testme:root': invalid user
    chown: `testme': invalid user
    chown: `testme:root': invalid user
    chown: `testme:root': invalid user
    chown: `testme:root': invalid user
    chown: `testme:root': invalid user
    chown: `testme:mail': invalid user
    Adding Name Virtual Host Entry
    Added Entries to httpd.conf (ip)
    chown: `testme:mail': invalid user
    chown: `testme:mail': invalid user

    etc ....

I'm still waiting the solution from cpanel team

    Regards,

    Dany Boucher
