    There are some great new features in the latest stable horde of 1.1. which gives shared calendaring, outlook export etc..

    Has anyone manually upgraded this? Will CPanel overwrite the newer horde when its updated?

    Any info greatly appreciated!

    In the current version installed on cPanel all you have to do is:

    pico /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/imp/config/conf.php

    You should see a line like:

    $conf['utils']['spellchecker'] = '';

    Change that to:

    $conf['utils']['spellchecker'] = '/usr/bin/aspell';

    Save and exit and it will be enabled.

    Regards.

    I don't know what version or Horde SpamCop is using, but I and my customers sure would like to see these icons that add the indicated address to the address book!

    [edit: my mistake. just activate the addressbook in options to get these features.]

    What site are you looking at? The actual Horde site shows the latest version as 3.2.3 (2004/03/06).

    http://www.horde.org/imp/

    Version 2.2.5 is about 15 months old.

    I see what you are looking at; just the Horde framework. That is not the actual IMP mail client.

    I see. I just figured you were going to put a bundle togather for cPanel and figured it might as well be included in the config since so many of us use it and seemingly more of us can't figure out how to get it to work.

    The instuctions above work great on my machines... ;)

    Does anyone know how/where we can find out what version is Horde/IMP installed on the server?

    When will Cpanel have the packages for the new Horde/IMP?

    time to ask again...

    Hi there
    again time to wonder when IMP is upgraded? On my web hosting services they use cPanel 9 and it seems :eek: that the latest Horde mail is not included. Does anybody know more? Impossible for me to see what IMP version is used in cPanel 9 but I'm sure it's not the newest since HTML editing is not supported. Furthermore, on the Horde site it says "The Horde Project strongly urges sites still running IMP 2.2 to upgrade to 3.x as soon as possible.".
