I use WampServer for development and the newer version of phpMyAdmin makes editing rows in a table incredibly easy, all you have to do is just click on the cell, edit, and click out of the cell. I've noticed for a while now that phpMyAdmin on my server has said that an update to version 3.5.3 is available and tonight I decided to update to the CURRENT build of WHM thinking that it would update phpMyAdmin, but it didn't: phpMyAdmin is still at version 3.4.11.1.

When will a cPanel update that has an updated version of phpMyAdmin be available? I am really wanting to get the new editing feature on my server..

    Thanks.

I vote for that also! I think it's something that we should expect in the next releases :)

Makes sense, i am not so sure if we all need that or if our clients do. Usually development takes place on localhost for most web designers as far as i know.

I think that this has been sorted out :

Welcome to phpMyAdmin 3.5.3, a bugfix release with minor security fixes. This release no longer contains the Highcharts library (which caused a licensing problem).

An Internal case #61691 was opened ten days ago about this. My apologies for not looking it up properly before posting previously. This is with QA right now as I understand it.

We have confirmed HighCharts is no longer bundled with phpMyAdmin. This update should be included with 11.34.1.

Hmmm, using the latest cPanel Release, and now I am seeing this note in the phpMyAdmin interface:

A newer version of phpMyAdmin is available and you should consider upgrading. The newest version is 3.5.4, released on 2012-11-16.

Also, table searches within phpMyAdmin (either in WHM or cPanel), are always returning zeros, even when there should be at least one "hit".

    Any suggestions? Thanks much.
