As above for the default location.. Thanks

I'm planning to uninstall Postgresql but I need to check whether any of my users are using it.

    Hi,

You need to check if there are any files that are being modified/changed in the following locations:

/var/lib/pgsql/data/base <<-- The default DB location for postgres sql
    /var/lib/pgsql/data/global

If any files are modified recently, you'll see the date/time changed for that specific database.
Also, are you un-installing (completely removing it) or upgrading it to a higher version ?
