When using the WHM backup feature using the remote server FTP method, where are the backups compressed to? Where are they sent over FTP from? I need to know this because I need to delete them due to not being smart and letting it use up my entire drive's space. Please help!

Try looking in your /tmp folder for cpmove-* files/folders and also in /home

I don't see any in those places. Is there anyway I can search for large files and how big they are (or large directories) that tell how big they are?

    Try this:

    find / -size +250000000c

This will find all files over 250,000,000bytes - roughly 250Mb
