Hi, i wanted to move an account to another server as my disk was over 99%.
The account i was trying to move was more gb than the free space and when i saw that i'll be out of space i aborted the transfer.
I saw a message that said something like "the backup will stop after a while" and the df command showed that the backup was running.

Where does cpanel stores these temp backup files in order to delete them, as df shows that there are somewhere.
In the forums i read some old posts about .cprestore or cprestore folders in various locations that i couldnt find.

best,

Hello! The cPanel backups should be using temporary space in the /home directory.

restore a full backup

Note:
When you restore a backup, the system expands the backup or cpmove file in its current directory. Make certain that the backup file’s directory contains at least double the backup file’s space. The system uses this extra space for the temporary files when it extracts the backups.
