Where do I find out what's in the latest Current/Release/Edge

I know about the changelogs, but if I'm say in Stable and I want to see what new software I'd get if I moved to Release do I really have to look through all the changelogs entries scouring for the Release related entries? Is there a page currently stating what software is is in what release?

Thanks,

Sometimes the change log is a little slow to post the changes to versions.

Thanks guys, but that link doesn't seem to help really. How am I supposed to know what version of PHP/MySQL or other vital software is going to be installed if I upgrade to Edge without trawling the changelogs? What happens if I've had cPanel set to Manual Update on say Current Release for 6 months then I decide to upgrade - how do I again know what I'm going to get before the upgrade?

For the most part, you will need to follow the changelog and the forum. There's no easy way to know what the differences are between the various builds, let alone 2 builds with 6 months difference between them.
As for the MySQL/php question, I personally have switched between Edge and the other builds a number of times now (and currently on 11.0-EDGE_485) and have yet to experience cPanel or WHM updating them for me without my consent. All I had to do was add an exempt into the up2date and yum conf files to not update either of these, and all is well. This allows me to specify right in the WHM settings which version of each I want, and allows me to update them at my convenience, instead of at cPanel's decision to include them into the build.

Thanks, but do you agree with the idea of having a new page which lists the versions of the major software currently running in each build - that surely will help people make deicisions on upgrading...

I think they are still working on redeveloping the changelog system. Word has it (more of a rumor than anything else) that it will be much easier to navigate and understand. Likely it will be a lot easier to track major changes as well.
But until then, you'll have to be patient... at the moment I'm personally more concerned with them fixing existing bugs in WHM and cPanel, over adding new bugs in their website. ;)
