Your host can explain to you where your files are kept. You might start there instead of here.

    Good luck.

Lots of help on a forum like this one. http://www.webhostingtalk.com :)

Let's say your site is domain.com and when you visit it in your browser you see your main page. Let's call that index.html
Now you want to edit index.html but you have no FTP client (like CuteFTP Pro, my choice), so you'd login to your cPanel, click the File Manager icon there.

When you get the File Manager open, looking down the left side of the page you see a menu, click the public_html text there you see.

Now on the right side of the page you are IN public_html. Find the file named index.html and then click it once.

Next, click the icon on top of the page titled HTML Editor. Read the popup you get doing so, and then click the 'Disable Encoding Check', read the next message, click ok, then back to main window, click Edit.

When the page opens, down at bottom of the page find the "Source" button and click it.

You are now "In The Code" for that page and can edit as you like. Where the code goes you wish to add, how to add it properly and so on is way beyond the scope of the forums here.

Lots of other ways to do this, I've only expalined one way, briefly.

I hope it's enough to get you started.

Time for a new host that cares for his customers.

    Good luck with that. :)
