where does all the email accounts created by cpanel stores?

check
/home/[user]/mail/domain.com/user/inbox

That's where it goes.

Did you look down the whole directory tree? If you did and the inbox files are empty, then the account holder has downloaded all of their POP3 email.

If you didn't, then you probably need to look for the virtual accounts under home/[account]/mail/domainname/virtaccount/

i haven ventured into inbox, will take a look tonite.

by the way any tools to convert mbox format to maildir format?
