I tried to login to the server (http://Server-IP:2082) using the username: admin and the same password as the root but that account seems not to be exist !

as a temp. soultion, I uploaded my files to /usr/local/apache/htdocs

now how can I add ftp accounts.. etc? I think that I need to login using the admin account? if so how

    thanks in advance

Do you have an account setup to use the user name admin? Were you trying to logon as "root"?

You should make it a habit to only use SSL when sending your root password. https:// :2083 and https:// :2087 .

Where should the main domain go?

How do I make my main admin account also have e-mail and domains attached to it?

    Is this possible?

    Is it wise?

    Thanks

    hmmm.
main admin acc (default with setup) is "root". password for that acc is the same as ur root acc pass

login at https://my.server.com:2087 <--- WHM, to manage/set/configure stuff

root is the superuser, so.... best to use SSL as SarcNBit mentioned =P

there is NO acc called admin by default. lol.

Reading the docs on the software would probably help as it is all expained.

    http://www.cpanel.net/docs.htm

Read WHM for setting up accounts.

    Read cPanel for using accounts.
