    Hello,

    I'm on fbsd 5.4. Where does whm/cpanel keep the default ssl certificate for the server?

    I recently re-generated the certificate, but can't find the file its stored in by default. There are no helpful pointers in /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf.

    I have multiple files under;

    /usr/local/apache/conf/ssl.crt

    By the looks of it, I don't have any! default vhost for ssl at the moment. Need insight/info on where to look

    I want to add the default self generated ssl certificate to one of our websites hosed on our primary ip. Can't locate the files to link to in the vhost spec.

    Location:
    Canada
    /usr/share/ssl/private/
    /usr/share/ssl/certs/

    Are the two general locations of SSL keys and certificates.

    Nope. Not there

    Yes, for customer certs, for self generated certs no.

    I re-created those certs through whm and I don't know where it put it.

    Found! it

    On my fbsd 5.4 server, cpanel has put the (self) generated cert in;

    /usr/local/cpanel/etc/cpanel.pem

    Both the rsa key and the cert in one file.
