Hello,

Since the new cPanel/WHM release 11.25.0 all new suspended accounts via WHM dosent call the suspended template page from resseler account home/username/public_html/suspended.page/index.html, now is calls somthing like:

RedirectMatch .* /cgi-sys/suspendedpage.cgi

Where to change? are all resellers be able to change also? is this a bug?

Thanks in advance

After edit the template, you have to unsuspend the account and suspend again.
On accounts that were suspended prior to editing the suspended template, the updates do NOT get forwarded. An unsuspend / suspend of the account does not refresh the template.

Oddly enough, any account that was NOT suspended prior to the template change will indeed reflect the template updates.

So, this is abug - for some odd reason, any account that was suspended prior to the template updates will not show the changes, even after unsuspend and re-suspend as suggested.

Suspend Page Bug - 11.25

I tried to scripts/checksuspendpages to no avail. This is a most odd bug. I hope they fix this ASAP as the default message is not what we use on suspended accounts. I need to be able to insert our custom message.

Is this where you report bugs like this or is there another place?

The preferred channel for reporting bugs is via the ticket system.

Okay, I figured this issue out or at least a work-around.

If the account being suspended is not owned by root, the edit to the suspend page will not be displayed and instead remain default.

I changed the ownership from a resale owner group to root, now the correct suspened page is displaying.

Thanks DARPA. You work around did the trick.

Any update from cPanel about this bug? Has anyone reported it yet?

Thx.

Log in as the reseller that owns the account to be suspended. Edit the Suspended page template. Unsuspend the account and then resuspend it for accounts that were already suspended and everything will be good.
