Where is the proper php.ini? I want to turn allow_url_fopen off!

    I want to to turn allow_url_fopen off in php.ini, but which is the right one? Where is it?

    Create a file called info.php and in it put:
    <?php
    phpinfo()
    ?>

    Then look to see the path. More than likely yours is in
    /usr/local/lib/
    unless you have done a manual install of Zend or something like that.

    Does turning allow_url_fopen off cause problems with any of the frequently used php scripts ?

    Configuration File (php.ini) Path /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini

    That's what it says in phpinfo, however I can't even find allow_url_fopen in there yet phpinfo shows it. What the hell is up with that?

    That's because you probably have an older php.ini file from a previous php install when this feature wasn't available yet.

    Then where, and what do I put into the php.ini file, to turn it off?
