I know, stupid question, but I really can't find it. I got a virus/trojan on my stuff, which turned out to be harder to get rid off than I thought. I asked my provider about security software, and they said "your cPanel got a virus scanner, use that". But where is it?
I'm using CPanel 11. It seems that for some people, the scanner can be found under "advanced", but not at my version. Does it have to be installed manually? Or is it on my version hidden in some sub-menu I didn't notice?

    Thanks for any help.

Edit: seems it wasn't installed. Let's see if I can make that work. ^^

You'll need access to WHM to install ClamAV if thats what you seek.

WHM > cPanel > Manage Plugins > ClamAV Connector, tick the box to install and keep updated. Scroll to bottom and click Save. Once this is installed you should find the icon for this in your cPanel UI.

    Hello,

You can scan your domain name, if you have shell access. Execute the command under the home folder as :

    clamscan -ir

Allow some time, you will get details reports

    Thanks.
