Yabb? Another PhpBB2 vuln application. It always has security issue. Why Cpanel would choose to make this YABB available is beyond comprehension. I wouldnt install YABB if it was the one and only forum application on the planet.voipben said:One more quick question - the phpBB option has disappeared from the "bulletin board" option (the yellow smiley face icon) and is replaced with "Yabb" in the latest cPanel incarnation. phpBB is still available under "scripts" but not in the area I just described...
Is this normal and is there a way to make the "scripts" area recognize a phpBB forum that was installed in the old "bulletin board" area?
Thanks!
Ben
Were you able to find a solution to this? I can't get phpBB to go above 2.0.19.voipben said:Thanks ujr! I had checked my WHM changelogs and everything was up to date but your stating that phpBB 2.0.21 should have been included made me check the individual cPanels and, for some reason, they are NOT up to date.
Somehow things are not propagating and I have contacted my admin.
The user's cPanel interface shows:nettigritty said:and where do you see 2.0.19?
