The problem with onlinenic is you have to by in bulk, if you do buy in bulk it is a good price. If not, namecheap is about the same price as godaddy. GoDaddy is a decent price but they try to sell you to much other junk when you buy a domain, I just want to buy my domain and be on my way.

Well, if you call 10 domains bulk(It's just $79.90, and after that you can buy the domains one-by-one if you like)...There are no setup fees at all. Don't you have to pay membership fees/setup fees for namecheap/GoDaddy?

enom is great for the api... and only 8.95 a domain if you get a reseller account thru someone. I can give you one along with many other people.

No membership/setup fees with godaddy, unless you want to set up as a reseller.

Godaddy does have that disadvantage of push selling other services. They didn't at one time, but now to register a domain, you have 2 extra steps where you have to say yes or no to their extras.

One thing I like best about godaddy is there customer support. There were 3 times when I contacted them about something to ask if what I wanted to do was possible, and the next day it was. My favorite was the ability to update contacts on more than 1 domain at a time. A while back, this was not possible. I moved and had about 60 domains to update. I was going to have to update them one by one. I asked them if it was possible to update them all and they said not currently. 2 days later I went to my account to do the updates and it looked very different. Then I noticed a new feature, the ability to change contacts on more than 1 domain at a time.

They added a feature to their system just because I asked. :D

That kind of customer support I like. :)
