I have a few issues with cPanel that I would like to communicate with cPanel about. They are not strictly bugs and are not support issues either. One such issue is with the new cPanel 11 addon domains DocumentRoot. Currently if the DocumentRoot path contains any symlinks the absolute path will replace the path entered, not the path with the symlinks in.
With cPanel introducing ruby on rails support very soon this is going to cause big problems for people using capistrano to deploy their rails applications as this make heavy use of symlinks in the DocumentRoot path.
I have submitted this as a support ticket, which seams like the wrong place, and been told that this is just the way cPanel works. It's not a bug report either IMO, it also does not seam like a feature request as this is just a small alteration of an existing feaure.
My question is where would be the best place to submit these type of requests to cPanel?
