which file to set cpanel version ?

    Hello,

    i know we can login whm and set the version to "stable" or others,

    and run /scripts/upcp in ssh,


    i want to ask if i can make the change to "stable" or others in ssh ?

    i want to know if which file is saved with the setting and i can ssh to server to edit ?

    Hello,

    You can change your c panel version by logging in to your server through ssh and find the file "/etc/cpupdate.conf " .Please open this file using any editer(vim) and add this entry " CPANEL=stable " .After that,please run the command /scripts/upcp on your server.This will update your server c panel in to latest stable release.
