Hi,

I wonder which redirect is used on a parked domain, is it 301 or 302?

when I park a domain - can I redirect it to a certain domain?
domainA.com forwarded to domainX.com
domainB.com forwarded to domainY.com
domainC.com forwarded to domainX.com

Appreciate your help
Thanks
Rolf

I imagine the best place to start looking for details would be your httpd.conf, specifically in the VirtualHost container for a main domain that has another domain parked on it.

Another option would be to open a telnet session on port 80 to the relevant server and view the response to a set of carefully selected GET requests - the http response code would be right there.

However since a parked domain sits on top of another and can be, for many purposes, viewed as interchangable with the domain on which it sits, what redirection is involved exactly?

~ "/(extra|special)/data"
Parking a domain does NOT make use of a 301/302 redirect, since the domain is not redirected to a different domain.

To setup a redirect, you will need to include the domain within "addon domains".
