Whm and apache failed

    Hi

    if i check service status in whm i get on apache:

    apache (1.3.28 (Unix)) failed with red light

    but my server is running fine and apache is up


    i have read that it take a while but now are 7 hours and it is always red

    make sure it's not your browser cache you're seeing...are you SURE it's up?

    Any way you can do a restart from your OS
    # /etc/rc.d/init.d httpd restart

    Oh, if it's actually up, but reading down, try:

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/chkservd restart

    If you have just rebooted the server, then having a red light is perfectly normal. The WHM doesn't update the status in real-time.
