    Hello,
i like to use the WHM backup system to make backup of my account and send them to a remote server by ftp. Backup has ben configured to backup into /backup as per default as well as the remote ftp (validated)
However no backup is done (and of course no backup sent to remote ftp)
I would like to know where the problem may be. I currently have a VPS with only 2 accounts. i have 75gb HD space and use about 10gb so there may be enough space for backup (delete backups afhter they has ben transfered)
Also do I need to enable both backup solutions (legacy and the "default" or only one of them?)

    Many thanks

    @ freebee,

Pls check the cpanel backup log file, so that you can understand what was happened.

    # nano /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/latest backup log

    Hello :)

You do not have to enable the legacy backup system. Check to make sure "Backup Accounts" is enabled and the users are selected with the "Select Users" option via:

"WHM Home » Backup » Backup Configuration"

    Thank you.
