I just would like to advice everyone to make manual backup copies of /etc/exim.conf and /etc/exim_outgoing.conf since the backup script in WHM does not include these two files!

I just had all my manual settings and modifications I made in the WHM exim editor wiped out by a cpanel tech and was glad I had made backups. You would think these settings are preserved because they were done through WHM - nope!
So you better save them unless you want to loose customers in a case like this.

    Go on, have a guess
    Sound advice :)

On all my servers I have a daily CRON job that, amongst other things) does:
    Code:
    tar -czf /backup/cpbackup/daily/mybackup.tar.gz /etc /root /usr/mailscanner --exclude /root/installd

So that I don't lose anything from /etc /root or the MailScanner configs.
