WHM Backup Solutions - Disk Quota Exceeded

Hi,

I have recently started using WHM Backup Solutions to backup my WHM accounts. The backups complete and appear in the home directory of my client, but do not transfer via SCP to a remote server. I have narrowed the issue down, and it is to do with the Disk Space on the Clients cPanel account. If I make my client's Disk Space Unlimited, it successfully transfers the backup file over SCP to my server.

I do not want to make my clients' disk space 'unlimited' as I feel this wouldn't be the right thing to do.

The error log is:

Hi,

Unfortunately, this issue is due to the way cPanel processes backups of individual cpanel accounts. WHM Backup Solutions simply automates the creation of a full account backup using the cPanel API.

The issue your having is outlined below.

Example
cPanel Account Actual Size: 5GB
cPanel Account Size Limit: 8GB.

When creating a backup, the backup will be the same size as the actual account. Therefore double the amount of space used is required.

The only resolution would be for cPanel to alter their backup functionality.
