    Hi,

I have a /scripts/upcp in my cronjob which will run at x:xx hrs daily.

However, if I set both cPanel Package Updates and Security Package Updates to be Manual in WHM -> Change Update Preferences, will /scripts/upcp in the cronjob still run?

THank you very much for your time.

    Best regards,
    Trend

/scripts/upcp still runs, just won't actually update cpanel if cpanel updates are set to manual. The upcp script does more than just upgrade cpanel. That script checks the upgrade settings and upgrades cpanel if it is supposed to, it also does the package updates if it's supposed to, and that's also when the backup scripts are called if the backup is set to be used.

Unless, of course, cpanel decides to do a forced update;)
