I am doing some research on the cPanel Pro. I wanted to find out if installing the upgrade to cPanel, will wipe out any information that is already in cPanel, and will have to start all over again, or if you can just lay the upgrade right over your existing clients accounts.

I want to try to get my host to upgrade so that clients can use BoxTrapper. But I want to make sure this is just something that can be installed and layed over the pre-existing data and accounts, and not something that makes the host set every thing up all over again.

    Thanks
    Michael

You can add it on to any existing system. :)

It just adds in features, you will not lose anything.

If it helps I've added a FAQ to cover questions about cPanel Pro:

FAQ: What is cPanel Pro? Where can I download it?

As I find out more information, I add it to the site.
