WHM/CPanel and mysql 4.0

    Hello

    we just got new servers from theplanet setup with last cpanel/whm and mysql 4.1 preinstalled.

    we need 4.0 for several reasons, do you know to manage to make cpanel working with mysql 4.0 ? how to reinstall clean ?

    we have some other older server which are working with 4.0 and last cpanel so should be possible.

    cPanel Access Level:
    DataCenter Provider
    Change the mysql version in /var/cpanel/cpanel.config manually and run /scripts/mysqlup


    ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE NO DATABASES ON THE SERVER.

    the downgrade worked but impossible to start mysql

    got this error

    MySQL File '/usr/share/mysql/charsets/?.conf' not found.

    how did you solved this error ?
