SOLVED WHM/cPanel hostname certificate renew

Hi,

my iCinga monitoring system keep warning me that the WHM/cPanel hostname SSL certificate will expires in 28 days. I've read that the upcp will automatically renew these certificates without any input by us.

I'm wondering how much days before the expiration the upcp process will try to renew them.

Hello,

When the certificate is less than seven days from expiration, your server will automatically attempt to order a replacement free signed certificate. The server will download and install the certificate when it is available. Otherwise, if the signed certificate expires, the server will install a self-signed certificate, and then replace that certificate with the free signed certificate when it is ready.

Hi Lauren,

thanks for the kind and detalied response. Yes, I've already read that page (my information about upcp that update the certificates came from here). So, the anwser to my question is: 7 days before the expiration. If not renewed the system will issue a self-signed that will be certified afterwards.
