    Hello,

I've got a server running cPanel and WHM, but for some reason no system emails ever get delivered. The client is using Office 365 for their emails. The main website domain is using the standard www.mydomain.com and the server is using server.mydomain.com. WHM is currently set to use an external mail server.

Can you advise any settings in either Office 365 or WHM that I need to configure in order to get this to work?

What do you mean by this? Are you using smarthost?

    Hi,

It's the settings for email routing (see attached). I'm not sure what smarthost is though, sorry!

No worries, that answers that then :)

and when you say "but for some reason no system emails ever get delivered." are you referring to system emails from cPanel itself or from some kind of CMS?

If you are referring to the ones from cPanel, make sure the email is set properly in WHM > Server Configuration > Basic WebHost Manager Setup

and then check the mail log via SSH:

    Code:
    grep user@domain.com /var/log/exim_mainlog

    Hello,

Could you confirm which type of emails you are referring to? If this is for root notifications, check to ensure you have setup the correct forwarded address in "WHM Home » Server Contacts » Edit System Mail Preferences".

    Thank you.

That's a great help, thanks! I found this error: 'Access denied, banned sending IP'

I have requested that Microsoft delist the IP address, so hopefully that will fix the problem.

    Thanks again!
